Successful experimental treatment of metastatic melanoma

In a new publication* by the group at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), USA, a summary of treatment with adoptive immunotherapy of some 160 patients with metastatic melanoma was reported. Positive response was observed in 72% of the patients and stable response for more than 3 years in 49%.

This experimental treatment is currently provided also in the Ella Institute for Melanoma, at the Sheba Medical Center, Israel.
